Wow! What a location. Views were astonishing, helpful owner and grounds beautifully kept. Pool was immaculate. Would love to return. Arrival hamper and other generous extras were much appreciated.

This is the most perfect location and setting. In a stunning location in the best of Tuscan scenery. The outlook over the vineyards is spectacular.
The villa is superb, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. All you need for the visit.
The pool is in a private setting and perfect for relaxing between visits to all the local sites.
Stefano the host was superb. Made us feel very welcome and was super helpful with restaurant recommendations. Also gave great advice as to how best to visit Florence and Siena, to park and get into the cities easily. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay. We will we hope be back again.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Lucia. The views from the cottage are breathtaking and the pool was lovely. Stefano responded to all of our inquiries and helped us figure out where to go and ways to get there. The cottage is literally in the middle of Florence and Siena and we visited both places. The cottage was super clean and nicely furnished, it was the perfect space for the 3 of us. Stefano provided us with a welcome basket of snacks and his family’s wine which we really needed after a long day of travel and arriving late. Stefano also gave us a bottle of his family’s olive oil which we brought home and tried the other day and it is very good. It was a very relaxing place and quiet with the occasional rooster call from the valley below . If you have a chance to stay here do not hesitate! We will be coming back

Lovely villa, fantastic pool and beautiful views over the Tuscan hills. Ideally located from nice towns, including San Gimignano, Siena and Florence. All within a 25-45m drive. The owner provided us with several nice tips for restaurants and wineries, great hospitality from him and his family.

Wir waren länger nicht in Italien und haben für dieses Jahr einen wunderbaren Ort der Erholung gefunden , mitten in der Natur mit unglaublichen Blick und sehr schönen und gepflegten Anwesen.Die Vermietung klappte sehr gut und für alle Belange und Fragen war jederzeit ein Ansprechpartner da, super nett und engagiert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Beautiful property with amazing views of the Tuscan countryside. Communication was easy and efficient. The villa is perfect for a couple or perhaps a couple with a small family but I wouldn’t recommend two couples staying here.
Wine tasting, vineyard tours, other beautiful small towns (Greve and Panzano) are all within 30 minutes. Tavarnelle is 5 minutes away with a few really god restaurants and a very well stocked super market.
Kitchen / Dining Area: Very well appointed with anything you could possibly need.
The bed was comfortable and the bedroom had the most closet space of any villa I’ve ever stayed in.
Very high quality “American” style shower with plenty of space.
The owner gave us a thorough tour of the property when we arrived and was very responsive to a couple of questions we had while we there.

Sehr schönes aus mit grandioser Aussicht!

We verbleven een week in Casa Lucia. Het uitzicht was in werkelijkheid nog mooier dan op de foto’s. Op elk moment van de dag is het anders. Je kan er naar blijven kijken. Ook mooi het uitzicht op San Gimignano!!!
We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Stefano, met een rondleiding door het huis. Er stond een welkomstpakket, waaronder eigen olijfolie en rode wijn vanaf hun eigen land!
Het huis is comfortabel. Boven airco’s die het gedurende dag goed koel houden. Beneden is het wat koeler, soms de deur opengedaan ‘s nachts, dat was zeer aangenaam.
Het zwembad was erg groot en heel lekker qua temperatuur. Er zijn genoeg ligbedjes en een grote parasol. Daarnaast is er ook een overdekt terras met weer prachtig uitzicht.
Voor ons de meest fijne plek waar we geweest zijn in Toscane!
Een aanrader is de Sentierelsa trail op twintig minuten rijden.
Ook fijn dat er een supermarkt dichtbij is en heel veel eettentjes.
Siena is ongeveer een half uur rijden en verder kun je allerlei kleine dorpjes bezoeken.
Kortom een aanrader als je van het Toscaanse uitzicht ben rust houdt!

Heel fijne vakantiewoning met zwembad in een prachtige gebied van Toscane. Dichtbij Siena, Florence, San Giminano.

Thank you Stefano, Caroline and family, we have just spent a lovely three weeks with you at Casa Lucia. After thirty years visiting Toscana we found perfection. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and a fabulous pool with amazing views.
After so many years we have seen the sights! which was fortunate as we rarely wanted to move away from the pool, or terrace with its never ending views.
Access to local supermarkets and restaurants are within a short distance travel by car.
Thank you once again for making us feel so welcome, without hesitation we will definitely visit Casa Lucia again.

The property, pool and villa are beautiful and the view of the vineyards and valley is amazing. Casa Lucia is a great central location to explore the Tuscan countryside or just spend the day relaxing by the pool. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Nous rêvions de découvrir la Toscane en nous installant entre Florence et Sienne et nous n'avons pas été déçus ; une vue incroyable, une maison adorable tout autant que son jardin, qui dit mieux ? Pas nous !

Great location and a very comfortable house with friendly hosts

Beautiful place with an marvellous wiew. The house and the host are top. It is very central located. You’ll reach the most of Tuscany within one hour by car. The pool is perfect. The house is well equipped, and the hole place is very quiet.

This property is all about the spectacular panoramic views you get: from the kitchen, the living room, bedrooms, to the pool: absolutely stunning views everywhere. Pool is large and well maintained, house is clean and has everything you need, wifi OK, airco in the living areas. But no airco in the bedrooms, which at almost 40° like we had all week, requires the sunshades to be left closed all day to keep the heat out. So if you want to wake up to that gorgeous view: remember to open them before going to sleep.
Access to the property by car can be challenging: very steep gravel road, even our SUV struggled to get up the road. The small town of Tavarnelle is only 1km away with a supermarket, restaurants, bakery, everything you need. Vespa rental also available there (a must!). Florence, Siena: all within 30min of driving. Abundance of vineyards and wine tasting in the region. The area is a bikers dream (but you better be in good shape, the hills are tasty).
Owner speaks english, is very friendly and helpful, you share the pool with them but they are very discreet, they only used it while we were out.
Only regret: we totally forgot about the olive oil and bottle of wine we received at arrival... I guess we'll have to come back one day to finally taste what they produce...

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful villa with spectacular views! A perfect place to relax and unwind. The villa had everything we needed, a great pool and close to the local town. A perfect location to explore Tuscany and also spend lazy days. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, and it was lovely to receive the welcome pack and bottle of wine! We had a fabulous holiday and did not want to leave! Would highly recommend!

The environment , the surroundings, the villa and the swimmingpool are wonderful, not to forget to mention the stauning view. The sleepingrooms and the bathrooms are perfect, where in the kitchen it is a pity that the quality of the equipment is not in line with the luxury of the whole villa. The airco's are not able to keep the rooms cool, and so they have to work all day and due to the lack of sunscreens in the kitchen it gets really warm and with that the usage of airco and with that the extra amount of electricity is considerable. Also the refrigerator was not able to cool all the food we braught in the first day. I have to admit that during the week we were in this magnificent house the temperature was 38+ the whole week. Therefor we enjoyed the pool the most. !!
So nevertheless we really enjoyed everything, also the great hospitality of the owner and his son. Really nice and much appreciated. Really helpful and with attention for us as guests. Thank you very much!!!

The property was neat and clean, very centrally located within 30 - 45 minutes of many of the iconic Tuscan attractions. The swimming pool was a welcome reprieve from the heat and very well maintained. The local town of Tavarnelle had all the required cafes, supermarket and speciality food shops to stock the villa.

De locatie is de mooiste die wij in tientallen vakanties in Toscane zijn tegengekomen. Hele vriendelijke eigenaar die goed Engels spreekt.

Our stay at Casa Lucia was perfection. When the worst part about the your vacation is having to learn all the different light switches, it's a good sign. Stefano and Tommasso and their family were so helpful answering any questions or problems we had with learning the ins and outs of european appliances. Even though we were there before the pool was opened for the season, the poolside space - from the outdoor cook-fire (which was graciously set up for us when we asked to use it) to the lunch table looking out over the hillside - and the whole property was gorgeous. The view from the main room and the bedrooms is jaw-droppingly stunning. The location is a great home base to drive through the hills of Toscana and visit other wonderful places like Pisa, Sienna, Sam Gimignano, Arezzo, Montepulciano, etc. We already are dreaming of coming back to stay again. Really a wonderful home to stay in and explore Toscana.
The WiFi signal didn't reach the downstairs bedroom - only the upstairs floor, but we weren't complaining about unplugging more during our stay.

Der Empfang durch den Eigentümer war sehr herzlich und wir haben uns sehr über den Willkommensgruss in Form einer Flasche Chianti Classico und einem Geschenkkorb mit leckeren Esswaren und Getränken gefreut.
Ebenfalls standen bei unserer Ankunft im Badezimmer Kosmetikprodukte – gleich einem Hotelservice – bereit.
Casa Lucia liegt traumhaft und ruhig inmitten der Weinberge und Olivenhainen. Die Aussicht auf die Hügellandschaft der Toskana und bis nach San Gimignano ist fantastisch.
Die Villa ist perfekt ausgestattet; der Innen- sowie Aussenbereich sehr gepflegt.
Als Ausgangspunkt ist der Ort bestens geeignet, da zentral gelegen. In kurzer Zeit gut erreichbar sind u. a. Florenz, Siena, Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, San Gimignano (= sehr empfehlenswert!!!) und Volpaia.
Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt in der Toskana resp. in der Casa Lucia.
Stefano ist ein sehr netter, aufmerksamer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber.
Das Olivenöl und der Wein stammt aus der eigenen Familienproduktion; wirklich köstlich und von ausgezeichneter Qualität.
Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert. Danke, Stefano und Familie.

Casa Lucia is a little gem. 5*
The villa has an open plan living area with the most spectacular view over the family vineyard and valley looking towards San Gimignano. The air conditioning upstairs was very welcome while the bedrooms downstairs remained lovely and cool. The swimming pool is wonderful.
Stefano and his family were so welcoming and the family wine and beautiful olive oil were thoroughly enjoyed.
The villa is in the perfect location to explore this area of Tuscany.
Sightseeing: We visited San Gimignano, Volterra, Greve in Chianti & Castellina in Chianti. Pienza and Bagno Vignoni were also worth visiting . On Tuesday night in Tavernelle Val Di Pesa during the summer months all restaurants spill out into the street at night creating a really lovely atmosphere.
We loved every minute at Casa Lucia and would happily return.

Amazing Location Of Villa.

Wonderful. We are certain to go back again in the next few years. The villa is outstanding and the perfect base for exploring Tuscany. Two sizeable bedrooms, large living spaces and well equipped kitchen, with the bonus of a large pool. And the views from every room and balcony and breathtaking. Our hosts were kind, friendly, helpful and we can’t recommend them enough.

House and Pool are in exzellent shape. The view is awsome and Stefanos family very friendly and supportive. Clear recommendation!

Amazing stay at Casa Lucia. The house is perfect for a family of 4 and the view is breathtaking. Stefano has been looking after us the whole week with great pieces of advice. I absolutely recommend this place, the location is also ideal for visits in Florence, Sienna, San Gimignano and many other beautiful villages from Tuscany. We will be back again !

Ottimo spazio per fare giocare i bambini è bella struttura con proprietari molto attenti

Die Unterkunft entspricht genau den abgebildeten Fotos. Unkomplizierte und verlässliche Buchungsabläufe. Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Eigentümer. Traumhafte Ausblicke durch die großen Panoramafenster im Wohn-/Esszimmer. Moderne Badezimmer im Untergeschoss. Sehr großer Pool mit schönen Liegen und blühendem Garten umgeben. Oliven- und Feigenbäume sowie Weinreben direkt zum Greifen nah rund um das Haus. Ausflüge nach Lucca, Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano, ins Chiantigebiet und ans Meer alle in ca. 1 Stunde gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen diese schöne Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter.

Wir waren im Juli eine Woche in der tollen Casa Lucia. Es hat uns prima gefallen. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles entsprach unseren Vorstellungen. Landschaftlicher Ausblick und Pool sind toll. Empfehlenswert!

Très agréable propriété, très calme. Maison bien conçue et bien entretenue, intérieur très lumineux avec vue panoramique sur toute la région. Idem depuis la piscine.
Très bien situé entre Florence; Sienne et San Giminiano.

Nous avons vraiment passé une excellente semaine.

Fantastic holiday!

Casa Lucia gave us a holiday we’ll remember fondly for time to come and happily repeat. The house is lovely, well-appointed and tastefully furnished. The grounds are beautiful and the views even better. The location is perfect for trips out to well and less-well known towns in this beautiful part of Tuscany; it is also very convenient for shopping The owners are most kind and helpful and easy to contact. Responses to any requests we made were rapid and peaches from their trees and eggs from their chickens thrown in for good measure! Apart from a new electric broom, we wouldn’t know what could be said to need improvement!

We spent some weeks at Casa Lucia and loved every moment of it. The villa is fitted with everything you need, the large pool is great and the view over the valley is stunning, the location very quiet but central, from where we explored to fantastic Chianti region everyday. To come back to this tranquil place after a busy day exploring was always a highlight. Nearby Tavarnelle is a charmning town with all the ameneties you need.
Stefano and his family were the perfect hosts who spoilt us with their kindness adn generousity.

My family and I stayed at Casa Lucia last October and we loved it. The views are absolutely incredible, from the house and from the beautiful pool. On a clear day we could see the towers of San Gimignano! The house itself is very comfortable- there are many windows and lots of light, the beds are new, there is plenty of space and the house is very clean. We spent a lot of time just lounging by the pool but it was easy to go into Florence by bus, and we drove to San Gimignano and Siena with no problems.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, they gave us some great restaurant recommendations and were always happy to answer our questions. They make olive oil and wine right from their property, make sure to taste some. We highly recommend Casa Lucia, we dream about going back and staying again!
