Amazing spot. Cortona is lovely, and this spot right outside the main city was so comfortable. Excellent home base from which to explore Tuscany. Amazing pastry and coffee shop just down the street, as well as a supermarket and great restaurants very close.The house itself is very spacious and private, felt extremely clean. Perfect spot for us to stay as we explored Tuscany for a few days. Host is excellent communicator. Very flexible with us to accommodate our needs for arrival and checkout. Highly recommend.

The location was fantastic!! It was walkable to restaurants, pizzerias and pubs. It was easy to jump in the car and go exploring too. The kitchen was well stocked, except for wine glasses, which we had to request more. The mattresses are horrible! Way too hard. Be aware there are lots of steps, two steps up/down to get into each room. We loved staying there, but would recommend some mattress toppers for better comfort.

Cool and spacious villa

The villa was absolutely beautiful with really nice furnishings. Pool is small but perfect for a dip in hot weather. Enrico the host was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed a fabulous pizza at the local restaurant in Camucia which is a short walk away. So easy to walk to the supermarket which is big and well stocked. Within walking distance of the train station which was very handy. The lake is a short drive away . We visited 2 towns on the lake both of which were well worth the visit.. Overall a great holiday in beautiful Tuscany!

On the outskirts of Camucia on the way up to Cortona. Birdsong everywhere and a really beautiful space to stay. Well equipped kitchen made cooking easy and lots of places to visit nearby. Really worth a stay, thank you so much, we loved it!

Beautiful villa in a beautiful Tuscan town! Great size for a family and friends, great outdoor area and pool. Very safe for little kids to run around outside and play inside. Beautiful views from the villa and it’s a 5 min walk to the supermarkets and many restaurants. It’s also 5mins away in taxi from the Old Town Cortana. Highly recommend this villa

This is a lovely, updated home in a fantastic location to use as base for Tuscan/ Umbrian day trips. The town of Camucia has all conveniences, many within walking distance including groceries, restaurants and the train station (@ 10 min). Cortona is a short drive up the hill. We spent most evenings in the house and really appreciated the comfortable living area. The kitchen was well equipped for any meal but we mainly used it for morning coffee/breakfast. It was too early in the season to use the pool, but the outdoor garden area got great afternoon sun and we enjoyed sitting out there. Highly recommend!

Great house, huge bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and lovely yard. .

What a lovely stay! For three couples each having their own room and bathroom was a major plus - all were quite spacious. The property is immaculate with everything needed for a wonderful stay. The pool is smaller than imagined, but perfect for cooling off. You easily walk to cafes, restaurants and the Camucia Thursday market. Would highly recommend.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Furnished with everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Plenty of space for 6 people and perfectly situated for the station to other places such as Florence and Arezzo.
Only downside are the additional charges for electricity, additional sheets and towels over a two week stay and cleaning, which would be better added onto the overall cost for renting.

Lovely house in Camucia, very spacious for our family of four. Very stylish interior and a well equipped kitchen with everything you need. The pool while small was well appreciated in the hot weather. Thanks for a great stay!

Very cool place to stay and we enjoyed the location as well as the villa itself. Not immediately obvious from the listing but you will have to pay a security deposit in cash upon arrival, as well as the cleaning fee. Additionally, you will be charged separately for electricity. All of this was disclosed but it wasn’t totally obvious when I booked. All in all it was a great stay and we enjoyed the location.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno molto tranquillo proprio fuori dalla famosa città murata di Cortona. La piscina era rinfrescante alla fine di ogni giornata, soprattutto dopo un'escursione a Cortona. Questo è stato il soggiorno perfetto per la nostra famiglia di quattro persone, inclusi due adolescenti. Ci è piaciuto passeggiare per il gelato ogni giorno!

Great place, we had a nice week in Camucha-Cortona

I found the review from June 22 very helpful mentioning do not try to walk to Cortona and the recommendations for the town. Beautiful house though, extremely spacious and well fitted out with cooking tools. Good to have a little patch of grass for our baby and an outdoor table as the weather was nice. Gorgeous views too.

Une très belle maison de village très centrale pour visiter la toscane et l ombrie . La maison était très propre et très bien équipée . À noter l électricité est à rajoutée en plus.

Visited Cortona and Assisi beautiful home in convenient location

Simply wonderful in every way. We hope to return.

The house was beautiful, spacious and clean. The landlord was helpful and friendly. Easy to Get the keys at a late arrival. Lovely pool and sunchairs. Well equipped kitchen.

The Villa made us feel at home from the first minute. Located in a quiet yet central location. We had everything we needed in the clean and elegant villa and it was a good base for our day trips. Communication with Enrico was easy, he was very kind and responsive. We definitely recommend!

This was the third, and best place we stayed on a 3.5 week Tuscany trip. The property management was excellent, and met us there in person to check in. The owner brought flowers for my wife's 50th birthday, and our 25th anniversary. The place was very well appointed for the kitchen and we often cooked their at night. The location is perfect for Cortona, and you can drive up the hill in 5 minutes, and the parking outside of Cortona is free. We also explored many other areas like the lake, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Assisi, and others easily from here. While there is a metered charge for heating and electricity is was not much for our group of 6 for a week. Any questions or issues we had we answered and handled promptly. There is grocery stores nearby for food as well. Would highly recommend this rental and location, it was our best experience!

Jolie maison bien équipée et entretenue

Flott opphold i et vakkert hus. Svømmebassenget er ikke met enn et stort plaskebasseng, (3 x 3 m; depth: 1,2 m) men resten av huset er genuint og flott. Kjøkkenet er flott innredet for å lage mat og stedet er rent og pent.
Beliggenheten nær den lille byen Camucia gjør morgenkaffen enkel. Det er fult mulig å gå opp og ned til Cortona for middag, men taxi opp og en 15 minitter gåtur ned er nok å anbefale.

We LOVED our stay in this villa!! One of the nicest airbnbs I've ever stayed in. The house is beautiful inside and very clean and well cared for. From the garden you have a view over the countryside with lovely sunsets or if you stand at the top of the garden you can see the hilltop town of Cortona! Pool small but lovely. Enrico was a super host - very friendly and responsive. The Posarelli Villas people who manage the listing were helpful too. We were a group of 3 friends and a 1 year old baby. It was a luxury that each bedroom has its own bathroom. Great that the villa has a high chair and travel cot. We did walk from the villa to Cortona one day but it was VERY steep and not ideal with the push chair. But there is an easy bus that goes from the end of the road to Cortona if you don't have a car. (In general I wouldn't recommend Cortona with a push chair as it is so hilly! But it is possible if you're determined) Cortona is beautiful but very full of tourists. We actually enjoyed staying in Camucia as felt properly Italian. Our favourite places were Cristallo Cafe (coffee during the day / apero and great sharing nibbles plate in the evening), Pasticceria Vannelli (coffee and pastries), San Lazzaro (pizza). Market day is Thursday. We enjoyed our stay very much, would recommend!

We loved staying in the house! More beautiful then the pictures. Cousy, clean and a nice garden for the kids to play in. We would recommand it any day!

A great villa, very nicely decorated and has everything you will need. However, The pool is very small, good for cooling down but not for swimming. Also the outside table has a sun shade but gets blown over all the time I’m very light winds so you can’t really use it.

The house is spacious with good location. A 10 minute walk to the train station and the same to the grocery store. All the fixtures are new and in excellent conditions. The owner is very helpful and he greeted us when we arrived and when we left. It is important to share that to get to the house, the last block and a half is a steep hill, so be aware if you are planning to arrive on foot. We had a wonderful time and will cherish the beautiful sunsets for years to come.

The house is very nice. The walls are like 50cm thick so even with warm weather it stays cool inside. And if it would get hot, there is still airco in all the rooms. The kitchen is complete, the bedrooms are spacious. Because of the thick walls it can be a bit dark inside. The garden is nice, the swimming pool was for some reason pretty cold even though the weather was hot. I am not sure how that worked. Communication with the owner is nice. The older lady does not speak any English, her son does. The location is at the higher side of Camucia, about 2 km from Cortona. For evening dinner it is recommended to just drive up the hill to Cortona (takes 5 minutes) where dinner is very good and comfortable.

Lovely place! Enrico was very accomodating and friendly. The dipping pool was a welcome relief from the summer heat and the home is very well appointed.

The owner allowed us to check in early which was very helpful since we had a baby with us. They also set up a pack and play for our 9 month old to sleep in upstairs which was fantastic. There were staples in the house which makes life much easier - soap, dish washing detergent, salt, olive oil, etc. The company was also very prompt and responsive with any questions or minor problems we had. And Cortona is a 5 minute drive or taxi up the road! Highly recommended

es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Das Haus ist richtig original toskanisch eingerichtet. Sehr geschmackvoll. Es fehlte an nichts. Wir konnten mit unseren Rädern sehr gut die Umgebung erkunden. Sehr, sehr schöne Region.

This house is just as beautiful as the photos! We had a great experience here and the house exceeded our expectations. The owners were very kind and easy to work with and the house is fully stocked with everything you need. We will absolutely be back and rent this villa again!

This centuries-old home has been fantastically renovated and beautifully decorated and appointed but keeps a lot of its old-warm charm. Bedrooms are large, bathrooms are very clean, and kitchen is very well furnished. It would be easy to settle down here for an extended period. The home sits within the town of Camucia and is only about 1 mile down the hill from Cortona. There is plenty of You are walking distance to groceries and restaurants in Camucia. The owners are wonderful people -- very attentive and easy to deal with. Very highly recommend.
