Villa Mara

Una villa espléndida, limpia, amplia, luminosa, con una piscina grande, un porche donde comer o cenar con cocina exterior para barbacoas (incluso con un horno para pizzas) y una especie de zona de chill out para leer o descansar a la sombra . El tema lencería y toallas perfecto. Propietarios disponibles para cualquier eventualidad. Por poner un pero se agradecería un poco mas de menaje en la cocina, para no estar lavando continuamente, pero no es un problema grave. Si volviéramos a esta zona volveríamos a alquilarla sin dudarlo

Spacious villa with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, and large terrace around the pool surrounded by olive trees. On the horizon you can see the sea. Very friendly hosts. Uncomplicated. Quiet location convenient for exploring the surrounding area. Highly recommended.

We returned to this wonderful villa which we first visited in 2019 with our then 12 and 14 year old kids). Once again, everything was perfect. In fact they have now added a dressing area and ensuite bathroom to the 2nd bedroom, with makes room feel more spacious.

Anyway, I can't recommended this villa highly enough! The owners were there to greet us. Everything was immaculate and in perfect working order. Having the table tennis provided a great family bonding activity in addition to the pool.
We would spend part of the day on the patio/pool and other part at the wonderful beach between Avola and Cassible, or walking in the amazing and uncrowded hill towns of Noto, Ragusa and Modica.

Slightly further is Syracuse.

In fact, the lack of crowds in the towns of S.E. Sicily is part of it's allure: we spend a couple of days in Taormina after this trip which was packed out with tourists, and this is early in the season!

Thank you for the warm and friendly welcome at your house. The house is absolutely splendid, spacious and clean, the home furnishing absolutely our taste. If you enter you feel like home. The pool and the garden are very well maintained. Fridge is already filled with ice, juice, water and wine. We had a relaxing week and would likely book again when it's time for ! Olaf & Tanja

Wunderschöne Villa, ruhig in einer bezaubernden Landschaft gelegen.

A wonderful relaxing stay in this beautiful villa. The pictures on the website looked amazing and the villa matched up to it. After 6 very hectic months as NHS workers, we wanted a complete break - this beautiful villa was quiet, and totally relaxing. Only 6 minutes drive to the local supermarket, but quite off the beaten track so no neighbours, and no local noise ( other than the occasional sheep). The pool was large and clean and the rooms spacious.
Easy to reach Noto, Syracuse, and the beaches by car, but we mainly stayed at the peaceful villa.
Highly recommend to anyone who wants a quiet break. Might not suit those looking for exciting night life.
Simone the caretaker was helpful and attentive without being intrusive.
We hope to come back another time.

Villa Mara was superb! The villa and facilities were perfect and the pool and outside space outstanding. Simona was so helpful and responded really quickly when we had a query. Overall, an amazing holiday in a fantastic property!

Truly wonderful house and location! Villa Mara is stunningly beautiful. The house itself, the terrace and the pool are really spacious. Everything is well maintained. The pool gets cleaned twice a week, the house once a week. From the villa you have a wonderful view onto rolling hills and the sea in the distance. The house is surrounded by almond and olive trees. Therefore house guests have absolute privacy (you don't have neighbors). Also the location is perfect for day trips to baroque towns like Noto (20 mind rive), Ragusa (1hr drive) and Siracusa (45min drive), as well as to Vendicari and other stunning beaches. If you like a laid back and quiet holiday without the bustle of being in a town, Villa Mara will be perfect for you. Thank you also to the hosts for always being helpful and friendly in answering all our questions about the area and facilities. Great service! We are looking forward to coming back to Villa Mara in the future!

Top gepflegtes Haus, wunderschön angelegt und eingerichtet, sehr sehr ruhig gelegen - herrlich!

A beautiful villa in stunning surrounds. We were looking for a well-appointed, modern, clean, quiet and private villa and Mara delivered across all fronts. It was also well situated for civilisation, with a supermarket less than 10 minutes away by car. The check-in and check-out were effortless.

We loved our stay at Villa Mara. We were greeted warmly by Simona who manages the house. She could not have been lovelier. She was always available to answer any questions we had. The villa itself was perfect for a couple. It would work well enough for 2 couples, but everyone would need to share one bathroom. The house is recently renovated and simply furnished. Everything is done with good taste. It was very clean. The only negative thing I would point out is that the very basic indoor kitchen is not especially well appointed. Poor lighting and limited tools make it practical to cook only the simplest meals, but with many wonderful restaurant options, this is not a serious drawback. There was also a second kitchen open to the pool which we did not use. The salt water pool is large and wonderful to refresh in after a hot day. Peaceful views of olive groves and a distant view of the sea located within an easy drive to Noto, Ragusa, Modica and Siracusa. We would definitely return to Villa Mara.

Wonderful villa to a very high standard, exactly as advertised. Will return! We have been renting villas around Italy, Spain and Greece for years, and this was the best one by far. The experience with Posarelli Villas was excellent: simple, easy, and really helpful, nice people at every step.
