The house was older but cozy. The dishwasher and washing machine needed a thorough cleaning, which I took care of myself before use.
The host Patrizia was extremely service minded and ensured us a good start in the house. And if we had questions, we could write to her and get a quick answer. The garbage system was not entirely easy and something had to be delivered 2-300 m from the house.
200 m from the house there was a water dispenser where it was possible to fill up your own bottles with drinking water for 5 cents per litre, cheap and easy. Center of the city approx. 1.5-2 km was super nice, with river, bridge and old buildings.
There was both a bar and a café, as well as a super delicious restaurant (Ristorante La Torre), which served the most delicious food. If you walked down the small streets you experienced the real Italy, but the city did not offer great shopping opportunities, but that suited us quite well.
Approx. 500 m from the house was a local grocery store, which had quite a fine selection of goods for daily consumption.
