Villa San Michele

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and very clean house. The view was absolutely spectacular, and the location was perfectly peaceful and private. We really appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom — traveling with two teenagers, that made things very easy and pleasant!

Although we visited in October and the pool was too cold to swim in, we still enjoyed spending time outside, taking in the quiet and the amazing surroundings. The house was a great base for exploring lovely towns like Pienza and Montepulciano.

Our host was incredibly kind and helpful. She was always available for questions, recommended great local restaurants, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.

We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back one day!

Geschmackvoll eingerichtet geräumiges Haus zum perfekten Erholen. Jeder Schlafraum mit einem Bad ist ein Traum ! Einziger Wehrmutstropfen der ein wenig zu klein geratene Pool.

We had an amazing stay here. The highlight was obviously the view! However the next best was Franco who did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable! We had an issue with wifi right before a major Italian holiday and while adults didn’t mind, kids were cranky. Franco went above and beyond to sort out the issue and get the kids back online. Highly recommend and would gladly return again! House is well stocked with everything you need to get you started. Grocery stores are a 20 minute drive away and you can easily never leave once you have shopped! Thank you Franco and Francesca!

It is a beautiful house with an amazing view. Host Franco is very lovely and a great help. The surrounding was great. We have been to Rome, Pisa, Siena, Pienza and the winevineyard. I would recommend this place anytime!

The house is lovely and in a beautiful position -the views are tremendous. Our contact, Guerri was charming and most helpful. The bedrooms and living space were light and airy. The house was very clean.
We ate in perhaps more than out, and would have welcomed more serving dishes but the kitchen was fine.

Weekend lungo con gruppo di dieci persone. È stato un piacere avere a che fare con Franco, sempre disponibilissimo e molto d'aiuto - ci ha addirittura portato la colazione! La villa è bellissima, in cima ad una collina, con una bella vista, circondata dal verde e ben arredata. È un po' isolata, ma questo è chiaramente comprensibile dalla descrizione. Ultimo tratto di strada per raggiungerla é sterrato, consiglio di arrivare con auto con assetto non troppo basso.

We are pleased to say our stay at Villa Campiglia was outstanding. It was everything in a Tuscan villa we could imagine. Franco provided us with exceptional service - he was so gracious and the perfect host. All was perfect - just wish we could have stayed longer!

Nous avons passé des vacances formidable, Franco est une personne délicieuse, la maison est très belle, très bien équipée, sans aucun vis-à-vis, la région est magnifique et parsemée de petits villages charmants et épargné par le tourisme de masse, et surtout, surtout, la vue depuis la maison est fantastique. J'insiste sur la vue, la mer ne fait pas partie du décor, simplement le val d'orcia qui de déroule à perte de vue sur 180 degrés...Enchanteur!

Beautiful big House for 4 to 8 just perfect :) The view is amazing and you can Explore the toskana perfectly from here. If you go there ask the owner which way is the best to enter the area. The road is a little bit pumpy but if you have the right way it is just fine. we came with a skoda octavia. Kitchen perfect, Bathrooms 5 of them and very clean. Pool is great :) We will defenetly come again if we are in the toskana :)

Franco was a wonderful host. Always available, caring about our well being and comfort. Top notch host.Pool is not heated. The water was cold and even with the use of a cover, we couldn't get the temperature up. Nice location, however quite far from nearby villages and thus taking time to get some grocery shopping or restaurants. All Kitchen equipment present and working

Die Lage des Hauses ist ganz außergewöhnlich! Der Besitzer ist sehr darum bemüht, dass alles funktioniert und es an nichts fehlt.

Easy to reach, friendly owner and offers everything to make you feel at home.

The house atrops apart, but the view of the valley of Val d' Orcia is fantasic. Very comfortable to drive most out of Tuscany. Pitigliano, Terme Saturnia, Montemerano, Sovana - a little over an hour. Siena's over an hour, too. Florence 2 hours. For the pearls of Val d' Orcia - they are next. For what a place nomael, then the nearest grocery store is not adjacent, but a view of the valley, the living nature (open-air pheasants, wild pigs, doe, porcupine, plenty of birds). Very close (7 km) to Bagni San Filippo, where there are also additional wild terms (the master will know). Master Franco was very responsive, tolerant. It was a pleasure to communicate with him. Heating is available at home (at extra cost), which makes a pleasant climate inside outside the summer. The only minus is that there is only one sofa in the living room, so it is not particularly comfortable to spend evenings. There was nothing in the kitchen, nothing.

Pace, relax, tutto perfetto.

Die Villa Campiglia ist ein wunderbares Ferienhaus, welches keine Wünsche offen läßt. Das Haus ist super sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet. Der schöne Pool und die fantastische Aussicht über das Val d`Orcia haben wir sehr genossen. Wir werden gern zurückkommen. Knut und Ramona

La valutazione complessiva è certamente positiva sicuramente esaltata dalla cordialità e dall'attenzione che il sig. Guerri (proprietario di casa) ci ha riservato.
Un posto incantevole dove poter soggiornare che la sera con il tramonto si trasforma in una cartolina .

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in dem Haus. Es ist ein Platz wie man sich zum erholen nicht schöner vorstellen kann. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Avons passé une semaine de reve. Jolie maison agréable et pratique, nous étions 8 PERSONNES, chacun à pu avoir son intimité. Avons apprécié la magnifique vue sur le sud Toscane, le calme,..... Envie d'y retourner.

Wonderful villa at wonderful place

Excellent. Campiglia D’Orcia is a gorgeous little town and this villa was a delight to stay at. Awe inspiring views, quite, peaceful and a brilliant base from which to visit Montepulciano and the genius wine community of Montalcino. Also, Guerri, the owner of the property was a very nice and helpful man.

Magnifique maison perdue au milieu de la campagne toscane. Lieu d'une grande tranquillité où l'on croise des biches, des faons, des lièvres, des faisans,... La piscine était belle, peut-être un peu froide. Nous avons passé une semaine qui restera longtemps dans nos mémoires.

Es war ein traumhafter Urlaub. Wir wussten nicht viel über die Gegend in Toskana als wir gebucht haben und haben ein Paradies vorgefunden. Das Haus liegt malerisch in den Hügeln und wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Urlaub. Man braucht ein Auto, um gut herumzukommen. Für jeden, der Ruhe an einem wunderschönen Ort sucht, ist es genau das Richtige!

We had an amazing time with my 9month baby and 6yo daughter. Very quiet and a few minutes drive to shops and restaurants. Very clean inside and out. Mr Franco and his staff are very welcoming. Highly recommended

This place is amazing! The owners were very welcoming and took care of every last detail. The house itself is beautiful outside and inside. Everything is clean and all the house appliances worked perfectly. The pool is also perfect and very clean. This property is truly a very special experience in the heart of the Tuscan nature.
