An absolutely perfect week at Villa Anna

Four of us (a group of friends) spent a week at Villa Anna in August, and honestly, we could not have asked for more. Everything was flawless from the very first contact to the moment we checked out.

The welcome was warm and well organized, check-in was smooth, and we were given all the information we needed to feel at home right away. The villa itself is stunning. It is a beautiful stone house with plenty of space for four, a lovely terrace, and a fantastic pool we used every day. The whole place was spotless and clearly very well cared for.

The location is superb. Tuoro sul Trasimeno is a quiet, charming spot right by Lake Trasimeno, and it makes a great base for exploring Umbria and Tuscany. Perugia, Cortona, and the lake villages are all an easy drive away, yet the villa itself feels wonderfully peaceful and private.

Communication was excellent throughout, and the departure was just as easy and relaxed as the arrival. Not a single thing to complain about.

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with friends or family in a beautiful setting, Villa Anna is a very easy recommendation. We would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I would thoroughly recommend this villa. It was extremely well equipped. Everything was brand new and spotlessly clean. The decoration is a mix of modern and traditional. It is very functional. Matteo the host is very attentive. He was available via what’s app and telephone for the duration of our stay. He couldn’t have been more helpful, his responses were prompt. He couldn’t do enough for you. The pool is fantastic. The perfect size and temperature. Matteo came and cleaned it half way through our two week stay. At the end of the driveway there is a small super market which we found to be very useful. I cannot fault this villa and we would go back.I would definitely do a day trip to Assisi. I would visit Cortona. Take a ferry to Isola Maggiore, have a wander round and lunch before catching the ferry back.
During the end of July there are some fiestas, a traditional boat race in nearby Passigiano which is a lovely village and you can do kayaking on the lake, but we didn’t get round to this.

We stayed at Villa Anna as a group of seven in the summer and had a truly amazing time. The house is beautiful, very well maintained, and exceptionally well equipped.
The rooms stayed pleasantly cool thanks to the air conditioning, the bathrooms were perfect, and the kitchen had everything we needed.
We especially loved the two large dining areas, one indoors and one outdoors, as well as the great pool with a comfortable water temperature and plenty of sun loungers. The spacious garden with a lawn was perfect for relaxing or playing games like football or badminton. The driveway also offers enough space for several cars. Another big plus is that a very well-stocked supermarket is only about 100 meters from the entrance.
The service was excellent as well: very friendly, attentive, always quick to respond, and extremely helpful. The host showed us everything in a very welcoming way, regularly checked in to make sure everything was alright, and also gave us great tips on what to do in the surrounding area. The location was ideal for visiting beautiful cities such as Florence, Siena, and Perugia. The Wi-Fi worked well, and we were also able to watch football on the TV upstairs.
All in all, everything was absolutely great. We can definitely recommend this place and would happily come back.

Unsere Gruppe ist begeistert von der Villa Anna. Besonders der Host Matheo war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und super flexibel mit Check-In/-Out.
Die Lage am Lago Trasimeno ist super und die Umgebung steckt voller Kultur. Mit einer nahen Zuganbindung gelingt auch ein Städtetrip nach Florenz und anderen großen Städten.
Das Haus hat alles, was man als Gruppe braucht. Der Garten und der Pool sind sehr groß. Abends draußen zu Essen ist dank der schönen Außenbeleuchtung wunderbar. Die Innenausstattung umfasst alles, was man sich wünscht. Man merkt, dass das Haus neu renoviert wurde.
Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft, perfekt eingerichtet, mit vielen Möglichkeiten, Umbrien und die Toskana kennenzulernen. Erholung garantiert. Matteo, der Gastgeber, ist ein wunderbarer Mensch, hilfsbereit und unaufdringlich präsent, wann immer wir Unterstützung brauchten. Wir kommen sicher nochmal wieder.
