Casa comoda e spaziosa, host gentili e sempre disponibili. Raccomandato!!

Es ist eine wundervolle Unterkunft. Wir waren hier für circa eine Woche mit einer weiteren Familie untergekommen und wollten einige Tage unsere Ruhe, was in dieser Unterkunft in jedem Fall möglich ist. Es ist sehr sauber der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hat auf jegliche Kommunikation direkt reagiert. es ist eine wundervolle Aussicht drum herum und auch den Pool kann man super genießen, der jeden Tag am Morgen gereinigt wird. Der einzige Nachteil, den man aber in Kauf nimmt, ist die Entfernung zu einem weiteren Supermarkt oder generell zum nächsten vor Ort. Die zwei Wohnungen, die übereinander sind sind identisch. Dadurch können zwei Familien super an diesen Ort Urlaub machen. Waschmaschine und Klimaanlage sind vorhanden. Die Waschmaschine ist außerhalb der Wohnung, so dass beide Familien immer Zugriff hatten. Die Klimaanlagen und die Waschmaschine funktionieren einwandfrei. Wir waren sehr glücklich und erholt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Great stay at Villa Picchio for a peaceful break in the Tuscan countryside. Property can be a little bit tricky to access down a 2.5km dirt track, however this makes it feel more private and peaceful. The pool was great, and property well maintained. Thanks for having us.

Veldig mye bra. Noen små ting: Sengene var harde, det var ikke ekstra toalett papir i huset eller tørkepapir, og ingen støvsuger eller vasketing tilgjengelig. Vakkert området veldig rolige folk, men minst 15mkn til nærmeste mini marked. Må ha bil. Deilig basseng.

This house was absolutely wonderful! Although it is located just a few minutes from the main street, there is an olive grove surrounding it and the owners produce quality oil. The scenery is splendid! The interior is spotlessly clean and is the perfect choice for a large family; we rented it out in its entirety. I would definitely recommend this accommodation!

The villa was perfect for our needs. The pool is large and clean. Full air conditioning to all rooms worked brilliantly in 40 degree heat wave. The villa is very rural.

Il soggiorno perfetto, 5 stelle su tutto. Unica grande nota negativa il wifi praticamente inutilizzabile in più di una persona connessa, al contempo, tuttavia, mi rendo conto della difficoltà di una rete efficiente in mezzo alle colline. Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili, posizione top, panorama stupendo, piscina ben tenuta, cucina ben fornita. Interni un po' antichi che rendono in prezzo più che onesto. Ci ritornerei sicuramente

Una perla nell’ immenso spazio delle colline toscane, facilissimo da trovare, l’ospitalità del proprietario è stata, oltre che professionale, molto ma molto cordiale e amichevole! Vicino a tutte le più belle location nei dintorni! Sicuramente ci torneremo! CONSIGLITISSIMO per gli amanti della tranquillità.

ottima la posizione della casa all'interno di una vallata che ci si arriva dopo aver percorso una strada sterrata con un panorama davvero spettacolare, il silenzio che si gode dalla posizione della casa, il cielo stellato e i suoni della natura che ti accompagnano sono davvero cosa unica. Gentilissimo il padrone di casa.

Cette propriété est bien adaptée à un séjour avec des enfants... Le petit plus..la piscine est grande et bien entretenue...appréciable !

Fantastic pool! And the owner kept it clean every day. Nice, clean, spacious house with excellent air conditioning (important in the very hot summer of 2022) in beautiful surroundings. The house is located in a quiet spot, but ideal for trips to e.g. San Gimignano, Siena and Montepulciano. Ideal house for a family vacation. The gravel road leading to the house was a bit of a challenge and I would not like to drive to the house for the first time in the dark (or at all when dark).

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à il Piccio. Plutôt central en Toscane. Hôte accueillant et très serviable. Les 2 apparts permettent à 2 familles de se restaurer ensemble mais de se reposer séparement. La piscine est un atout indéniable! Petit moins: très peu d'electroménager (pas de bouilloire, grille pain, four ou lave vaisselle)

It is a very nice villa. Good and quiet location, the swimming pool is perfect for relaxing, ... We had everything we need.
We were very well treated by Simone and everything worked perfectly.

Très belle propriété au calme. Idéale pour deux familles. Belle villa situé dans un lieu calme. Elle est équipé simplement mais c'est largement suffisant.Organisation parfaite. Le propriétaire est très disponible mais il parle principalement italien. La cuisine est simple. Il manque juste un lave vaisselle pour les paresseux ;-) Les chambres sont suffisantes pour les vacances. La villa est située au milieu de la campagne. Il fait très calme mais l'accès se fait par une route en gravier. La villa correspond parfaitement à la description. Belle piscine entretenue tous les jours. Tant le propriétaire que posarelli villas ont été très disponibles et ont répondu à toutes les questions.

We enjoyed our stay here. Located in the middle of the Tuscan countryside, 2km drive on a gravel road. Volterra is 10-15 mins away, San Gigmiano about 30 mins, Siena less than an hour. The house was clean and ready for us as we arrived and the caretaker of the property was welcoming, check in process was easy and fast. There are 2 separate self contained identical apartments, one on the ground floor and the other on the top floor, with an outside desk and BBQ area for each. We rented both and had the place to ourselves. A big lovely pool with reclining chairs and parasols. The house is surrounded by olive trees and a few other houses, part of an olive oil farm. The inside was clean, but it is rather basic (as expected). Good value for money if you don't want to spend thousands but still have a whole house with a pool to yourself (houses 2 families or 8 people comfortably, 4 in each apartment).

Wer es ruhig, abgeschieden und rustikal mag, dem sei „il picchio“ („Der Specht“) herzlich empfohlen. 2km abseits der Regionalstrasse mitten in Weizenfeldern gelegen bietet es Toscana pur. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und berichten gerne über das Leben in der Landwirtschaft. Die Einrichtung ist einfach und rustikal, aber ausreichend. Der grosszügige Pool wird täglich gereinigt und ist gerade mit Kindern der Trumpf. Im grossen Garten mit vielen Bäumen, Büschen und Hecken gibt es zu jeder Zeit schöne Schatten- und Sonnenplätze. Und Schliesslich lädt auch die eigene Bocciabahn zum gemütlichen Spiel.
Einkaufen in Volterra oder Val d‘Elsa braucht pro Weg eine gute Viertelstunde, nach Cecina Mare an den Strand gegen 5/4 Stunden.
Trotz sehr hoher Temperaturen war es sehr angenehm - fast immer geht in den Hügeln (knapp 300 müM) ein Wind.

Great location and facilities/pool

Practical, peaceful and calm area. Nice pool. Good clean house. Easy to talk and communicate with the staff. 2 restaurants in a range of 5-6 km. Cats,foxes in the garden.
I would recommend with all + and -.

BUT hot water from the gas boiler was a bit tricky. Nobody mentioned 2.5 km dirty road. Changing the towels and bed clothing once per week. Could be offered as extra service for extra fee to change it twice per week.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. La villa est conforme à la description, l'avantage des 2 appartements dans une même villa est juste génial pour l'intimité de chaque couple. La villa est propre et bien entretenue. La piscine est géniale les enfants ont adoré ainsi que les adultes, le nettoyage de la piscine est quoditien fait par le propriétaire. Pour résumé la villa est GÉNIALE.

We had a very pleasant holiday at Villa Picchio, the owners work nearby, they are not intrusive at all and we were happy to have them so close for our questions, thank you for your patience with us! The villa is quiet, it has a modern look and a well cared garden. The kids of course loved the pool. We highly recommend this property.

The owners made sure we had all we need and more, they are very nice people. The property is very private with beautiful gardens, we enjoyed eating outside under the patio, there are 2 barbecues and there is no shortage of space.
The location is perfect for day trips to Florence, Pisa and Siena, do not miss the lovely hill towns like Voltera e Sangimignano.

Wir waren begeistert von dem grossen Haus mit dem makellos gepflegten Grundstück, den 2 Apartments mit den 2 Küchen und dem wunderbaren Pool. Alles war sehr sauber, der Pool ist jeden Tag gereinigt worden und wir konnten uns in aller Ruhe sonnen und im Garten und Pool spielen. Wir empfehlen die Villa auf jeden Fall weiter und freuen uns jetzt schon darauf, hier wieder übernachten zu können.

Volterra est situé au centre de la Toscane, et nous avons donc pu visiter Pise, Sienne, San Gimigiano, et la côte très facilement en voiture, tout en appréciant beaucoup de temps de détente dans la maison et à Volterra lui-même. La maison est très paisible et avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin, avec beaucoup d'espace pour notre groupe de 10 personnes. Fortement recommandé pour des vacances en famille!

Very clean and the owner was really helpful. Would recommend his red wine fabulous. Only one thing missing a Kettle for making Tea for us brits
