Schönes Schloss mit tollem Blick über die Toskana. Auf der Anlage gibt es Historisches und Verwunschenes zu entdecken, man bleibt trotz anderer Besucher angenehm unter sich. Unser Appartement hatte eine Terrasse und eine Klimaanlage, was ich für den Sommer echt empfehlen würde. Negativ: die Mücken nerven nachts teilweise auch in den Räumen und man braucht für Unternehmungen wirklich ein Auto, weil fußläufig wenig zu erreichen ist. Positiv: sehr freundliche Rezeption und entgegen der Angaben auf der Website, dass man Spülmittel und Toilettenpapier mitbringen muss, war in der Wohnung dann doch alles vorhanden (Gewürze jeglicher Art allerdings tatsächlich nicht!). Für 2-3 Tage entspannten Erholungsurlaub aus meiner Sicht prima geeignet.

I knew we were staying in a castle but I was pleasantly surprised with how nice and large the rooms are. We had room 29 and the entry was into the kitchenette and sitting area with a large dining table. The bathroom was beautiful and very nicely updated. the beams in the main bedroom were absolutely stunning and then to walk out on the terrace overlooking the pool and gardens were so serene. We will definitely be back, such a wonderful experience at Montegufoni!!!

Montegufoni is a wonderful place to stay for short or long holidays. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food in the restaurant is excellent. We had a great holiday.

Montegufoni is the most amazing holiday destination and I would thoroughly recomend visiting ! The castle is spectacular and steeped in history, the restaurant serves the best Italian cuisine and all this just a stones throw from the delights of beautiful Florence.

What an amazing property with outstanding service! We truly enjoyed our stay at Montegufoni 29. We specifically selected this property because of the private balcony with expansive views and were not disappointed. We had no intentions of cooking (hello, we're in Italy!) but the refrigerator was great for storing wine and snacks. It was wonderful to have the space of a full kitchen with table, larger shower, and very large bedroom with plenty of hanging space for clothes. The bedroom was the only room with an air conditioning unit, which is fully disclosed, and worked perfectly for us and was worth the extra charge. Close the bedroom door and you are sleeping comfortably! Thought to consider when planning (but not to discourage this visit): You need to bring everything you may need; paper towels, soap, shampoo...You are allotted one bath towel per person for the stay or can pay for more. If I went back, which I would in a heartbeat, I would also buy a citronella candle for the patio. (We're literally in a forest, of course there will be little buggies, just a deterrent to be more comfortable) I should mention again what wonderful service we had during our stay; check in, an issue, and check out were handled wonderfully and we are so grateful.

We loved our stay! A truly wonderful location and a very affordable price. The rooms are apartments, so do not forget to do a little "grocery shopping on the way in. We would recommend at least 7 days at this location to be able to visit Florence and enjoy the surrounding area. Ask the wonderful staff for suggestions and directions.

We have a wonderful stay at the Castello, and will most certainly be back! The apartment was beautiful (a little bit cold - but the staff put heating on at our request!)
Staff were wonderful, grounds were beautiful, meals were delicious. 10/10!

It was a worth remembering experience living in a, so nicely preserved, castello. The apartment was really comfortable and nicely decorated.we really enjoyed every moment in the balcony, admiring the picturesque tuscanian scenery. The pool and exploring the castle was a real joy for our kid.

We will come at the first opportunity. Really enjoyed the castle & the surrounding countryside.
